About StoryMailed
What if something beautiful was waiting for you in the mailbox?
We live in a world where almost everything arrives instantly.
Messages. Photos. News. Entertainment.
StoryMailed was created for something different.
A story you have to wait for.
Original stories written to be experienced one letter at a time, delivered to your mailbox over six months.
No scrolling. No algorithm deciding what you see next.
Just a real envelope, a story, and a little moment that belongs entirely to you.
Hi, I'm Mila.
I'm the writer, artist, and founder behind StoryMailed.

And I've loved letters for as long as I can remember.
Growing up in Kenya, I had pen pals around the world. Letters arrived from places like Finland and the Netherlands, carrying pieces of lives I had never seen.
I would wait for them.
Then I'd open the envelope and discover a new person, a new place, a new idea, a new little world.
There was something magical about knowing that someone, somewhere, had taken the time to sit down and put their thoughts on paper before sending them to me.
I never forgot that feeling.
Years later, I found myself wondering:
What if we could bring that feeling back?
What if stories didn't always have to be consumed in one sitting?
What if you could actually look forward to the next chapter arriving in your mailbox?
That question became StoryMailed.
Stories worth waiting for.
StoryMailed creates original, immersive stories designed to unfold slowly.
Each series contains six letters, delivered one month at a time.
You don't read the whole story in one night.
You receive Letter One.
You open it.
You enter the world.
And then you wait.
Next month, another envelope arrives.
A new chapter. A new moment. Another little piece of the story.
By the sixth letter, you've experienced something that could never have existed as a single package on a screen.
You've lived with the story.
Every story begins with a feeling.
Some stories are about love.
Some are about heartbreak, friendship, family, becoming, healing, adventure, wonder, or the strange little moments that make us human.
Because life doesn't come with one storyline.
And neither should StoryMailed.
You might choose a story because it reminds you of someone.
You might choose one because you're going through something yourself.
You might send one to someone who needs a little surprise in their mailbox.
Or you might simply think:
That sounds like a story I'd love to live with for six months.
There is no wrong reason.
Why I make them by hand
StoryMailed brings together the things I've always loved most:
Writing. Art. Paper. Beautiful details. And stories that make you feel something.
I'm also an engineer and project manager by training, so I naturally notice the little things.
How something feels when you open it.
How a letter is presented.
How the story unfolds.
What makes an experience feel thoughtful rather than ordinary.
I bring both sides of myself to StoryMailed:
the artist who wants you to feel something, and the engineer who wants every detail to work.
This is bigger than a letter.
I believe there are still people who want to slow down.
People who want something tangible.
People who love stories enough to wait for the next chapter.
People who remember the feeling of receiving something in the mail that wasn't a bill, an advertisement, or a package they ordered yesterday.
Something that says:
Someone thought about this.
Someone made this.
This was meant to find you.
That's what I want StoryMailed to be.
A little piece of wonder in an ordinary month.
A reason to check the mailbox.
A story that stays with you after you've closed the envelope.
Welcome to StoryMailed.
Whether you're here for yourself or because you're looking for something meaningful to send someone else, I'm glad you found us.
Choose a story.
Open the first letter.
Then let the rest arrive in its own time.
Six letters. Six months. One story to unfold.
